This listing is for the absolutely gorgeous XL Botswana agate tumbled stone shown in the photos above. Measuring approximately 1.5" in length, this crystal is filled with gorgeous bubbles, swirls and lines of color. One side reminds me of a cloudy sky, and the other looks just like a fingerprint! The depth and color in this crystal is just so beautiful, and is 100% natural from Mother Earth. Botswana agate is a type of banded chalcedony that is often found in shades of pink, gray, blue, white and purple. These lovely stones were created by volcanic activity that occurred almost 200 million years ago. The lava from these ancient volcanoes flowed out in waves, depositing layer after layer of quartz that created the gorgeous bands of color and depth seen in these crystals. Botswana agate is often considered to be the "King" of agates due to its incredible color, pattern and depth.
